The ES 802 from dB Technologies is a portable bi-amped sound system comprised of two passive tops driven by the 12” powered subwoofer.
The sub hosts a 1200 watt power amp module with auto range PSU and powerful DSP that manages the coverage and all other functions of the system.
This all inclusive, feature packed system sets a new benchmark in sound performance and versatility. The top boxes contain 8 x 3" drivers for full, clear audio reproduction.
The ES 802 is the result of experience gained from dB Technologies in the acoustic design of vertical array systems like DVA T Series and MINI.
The components of the top boxes are aligned mechanically (Logarithmic Curved Column Array) so as to increase the coverage of the vertical beam.
Furthermore, there is a special “double-ringed phase plug” that increases the horizontal coverage and provides a rich, crystal clear sound.
The satellites are connected "top on top" and are placed on the subwoofer through the supplied 25 mm pole. The system is used in mono mode, so all inputs are routed to both outputs in mono format.
The bass-reflex subwoofer houses a big 12” woofer and the powerful amplifier module that also drives the top boxes. This amplifier is capable of powering the system with enough grunt to produce an astonishingly loud, yet crystal clear 124 dB Max SPL!
The enclosure, sturdy and stylish, is made of birch plywood coated with a durable scratch-resistant black coat, which makes it truly road-ready. Two recessed handles (one per side) help make transporting this lightweight system even easier.
Finally, the metal grille with foam both protects the woofer and gives a very elegant and professional look that also helps the reflex effect. The lower part of the grille, placed right on the reflex ports, have cutouts with a larger diameter to enhance air flow.
The highly efficient amplifier provides high power while also being extremely light in weight and dimensions. The digital preamplifier with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) controls the audio crossover of the acoustic components, the frequency response, the limiter, and the phase alignment.
The top speakers are designed to provide both an extended vertical coverage and a wide horizontal coverage.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
