This condenser mic bridges the gap between the extreme sound quality of the d:dicate™ Microphones series and our well-known Miniature Microphones in the d:screet and d:fine series.
Inside this capsule, two opposite-facing miniature capsules are custom rebuilt.
They are placed into a double-diaphragm, one-capsule composition. This combines the advantages of small capsules with the lower inherent noise achieved from a larger diaphragm area. These capsules provide fast impulse response and large frequency bandwidth.
The capsules are loaded to the supreme d:dicate Microphone series preamplifiers instead of the tiny miniature FET ones. This gives the sound more air and precision.
Comparisons with its big brother, the iconic MMC4006 capsule, are inevitable. The relationship between the two can be clearly heard.
The MMC2000 series performs as well as more exclusive microphones. It is a premium-class mic capsule and redefines the term value for money.
The d:dicate 2006C Twin Diaphragm Omnidirectional Microphone, Compact is part of the flexible d:dicate Microphones Series.
It combines the MMC2006 Twin Diaphragm Omnidirectional Capsule with the MMP-C compact preamplifier.
This combination offers a subtle character alteration with a bit more “body” to the low end than the d:dicate 2006A Twin Diaphragm Omnidirectional Microphone. It is also much easier to position than other Omnidirectional mics.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
We reserve the right to accept any of these mentioned returns at our discretion, although restocking fees and administration fees may apply.
