Large diaphragm microphones are widely used to record vocals and other featured sound sources, due to their low noise and ability to capture more acoustic energy than smaller diaphragm mics.
Designed with a large, highly sensitive condenser capsule, the MXL 2003A captures the detail and rich sound of vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, and percussion recordings. Featuring a HPF and pad, this microphone is perfect for a huge range of applications.
The 2003A Large Capsule Condenser Microphone from MXL is suitable for studio or live use - providing clarity, presence, and detail.
This versatile mic features a cardioid pickup pattern and a bass roll-off switch which reduces unwanted low frequency noises and proximity effect.
A switchable -10 dB pad provides extra headroom when recording extremely loud sound sources, and the vintage-style capsule design provides a smooth and even frequency response.
The 2003A features a transformer-less output that provides low noise operation, and the mic can be powered by standard 48 volt phantom supply from the console.
The MXL 2003A comes complete with the MXL-56 shockmount, an MXL branded microfiber cleaning cloth and a protective case/pouch.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
We reserve the right to accept any of these mentioned returns at our discretion, although restocking fees and administration fees may apply.
