Remo Diplomat® Hazy Snare Side (Resonant, Bottom) drumheads feature open, bright tones with maximum sensitivity, sustain, articulation and projection. Constructed with 1-ply of 2 mil film, Diplomat® Hazy Snare Side drumheads provide clarity for accentuated snare drum response.
The Remo Diplomat Hazy Snare Side is a very thin resonant snare drum head, giving excellent clarity and responsiveness to each snare stroke.
Made with a single ply of 2 mil hazy film, the Remo Diplomat Hazy Snare Side is slightly thinner than more common 3 mil resonant snare heads. The very thin single ply of the Diplomat Hazy Snare Side allows for very good clarity and definition.
This resonant drumhead will add extra responsiveness to each snare hit, giving a crisp definition to your snare drum sound.
Softer articulations will stand out, making the Diplomat Hazy Snare Side an excellent choice if you play a lot of ghost notes and lighter snare work. This resonant drumhead is very responsive with drumsticks, but it really stands out with brushes… The thin single ply allows the snare wires to easily react to even the lightest of brush strokes.
The “hazy” film is semi-translucent, giving this resonant drumhead a nice look and adding a tiny boost to the warmer end of the sound spectrum. The added warmth gives more balance to the overall sound, something that is welcome with a very thin resonant head.
This resonant head is perfectly suited to low or medium volume music styles, or for capturing sensitive snare work in the studio. Note that the Diplomat Hazy Snare Side may not give enough volume for louder music styles (especially if played without a microphone).
Using a 2 mil resonant snare head gives more snare wire sound (the snare “snap”), and reduces the drum sound (the sound of the wood/metal).
Overall this gives more snare clarity, but slightly reduces the drum’s volume.
Note: This is a resonant snare drum head, designed to be used on the resonant side (bottom) of the snare drum. Do not use this as a batter (top) head, as it will damage very easily due to the very thin ply.

We want you to have a positive experience shopping with us, so we offer a 30 day returns policy should the product not be suitable.
Simply open a return request from your account on our site, or contact us by phone or email. We will then provide an RA (return authorisation) number and instructions on where to send the parcel.
Please note, returns are only accepted if the goods are unopened, with all packaging and any seals unbroken. If you've used or opened the product, we cannot sell it as new. I'm sure you'd agree when buying something you expect it to be brand new! The refund or credit will be minus our shipping and admin fees
Some items are exluded from this returns policy, including any product that may present hygeine issues. These products are deemed excluded at our discretion.
All products sold by this site come with a guarantee to be free of defects, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
However, please choose carefully as refunds are not usually provided when you have simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, or made a wrong selection.
